2 Corinthians 5:21
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
2 Peter 2:9
The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:
Psalms 103:8, 11-12
The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy…For as heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.
For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.
Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.
For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.
Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
