Noun: an emotion experienced in anticipation of some specific pain or danger (usually accompanied by a desire to flee or fight)

  • a distressing emotion aroused by impending danger, evil, pain, etc., whether the threat is real or imagined; the feeling or condition of being afraid.
  • a feeling of profound respect for someone “The Fear of God”
  • an anxious feeling
  • something that causes feelings of dread or apprehension, something a person is afraid of:
  • Cancer is a common fear.
  • Do you fear sickness?
  • Do you feel a sense of dread of the future?
  • Do you experience sudden fear or panic?
  • Do you go about your life with feelings of uncertainty or insecurity?
  • Do you feel an oppressive presence around you?

If you struggle with fear, now you can rest in the assurance that the eternal word of God will help you overcome all your fears. Courage is not the absence of fear it is simply a quality of spirit that enables you to face danger or pain without showing fear. Life is not always fair, but God’s love never changes. Life is not always easy, but God’s grace is sufficient. There is good fear and bad fear as Proverbs is full of promises for those who fear God, as much also the bad kind of fear is rooted in faithlessness and will torment and enslave us if we are not on guard always. Learning the word of God will hopefully be your escape.

Above All – Get Wisdom,
Get Knowledge, Get Understanding.

Classically, wisdom is considered to come with age. Some religions consider wisdom a gift granted by God. The Jewish book of Proverbs in the Old Testament states Fear of God is the beginning of Wisdom`. However, the Christian Bible as a whole recognises that wisdom can come both as a gift of God and through man’s efforts, but one must be mindful of ”Job 28:28 And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.” because if one has understanding “John 15:5, I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing” .

Fear Not, for I am with thee, and will bless thee, Gen 26:24 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world John 16:33 So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria enjoyed peace, being built up; and, going on in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it continued to increase. Acts 9:31

My son, if you receive my words, And treasure my commands within you, So that you incline your ear to wisdom, And apply your heart to understanding;Yes, if you cry out for discernment, And lift up your voice for understanding, If you seek her as silver, And search for her as for hidden treasures; Then you will understand the fear of the Lord, And find the knowledge of God. For the Lord gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding; He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk uprightly; He guards the paths of justice, And preserves the way of His saints.

Then you will understand righteousness and justice, Equity and every good path. Proverbs 2:19

Never forget this one small thing;

“The test of the Gospel is grace. If the message excludes grace, or mingles law with grace as the means either of justification or sanctification (Gal 2:21; 3:1-3), or denies the fact or guilt of sin, which alone gives grace its occasion and opportunity, it is ‘a different’ gospel, and the preacher of it is under the anathema of God”

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son” (John 3: 16-18). Please notice that believers are NOT condemned and have eternal life.

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith–and this not from youselves, it is the gift of God–not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do ” (Eph. 2:8,9).

e·ter·ni·ty n.    “A very long time to be wrong”

1. Time without beginning or end; infinite time.

2. The state or quality of being eternal.

3. The timeless state following death.

4. The afterlife; immortality.

Psalms 27:1-6 A Psalm of David. The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked came against me To eat up my flesh, My enemies and foes, They stumbled and fell. Though an army may encamp against me, My heart shall not fear;

“What you go after here, just might determine where you go in the here after.”

IF YOU SHOULD DIE TODAY DO YOU KNOW WHERE WOULD YOU SPEND ETERNITY?

No one likes to think about death, but death comes to everyone. The word says –

“And as it is appointed unto man once to die, but after this the judgment” Hebrews 9:27 Since death is so certain, you must prepare to meet God. According to God’s word you must spend eternity in one of two places, either in Heaven or in Hell. “And these shall go away into everlasting punishment (Hell): but the righteous into life eternal” (heaven). Matthew 25:46

EVERY PERSON BORN INTO THE WORLD INHERITED A SINFUL NATURE.

“…and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others” Epesians 2:3 “Wherefore, as by one man (Adam) sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.” Romans 5:12 “Behold, I was shaped in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me” Psalms 51:5 ” The heart is deceitful above all thing, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” Jeremiah 17:9

You must admit you are a sinner. Admit it to yourself and admit it to God. There is absolutely no chance for you to be saved from hell unless you know that you are a sinner. God’s word declares it, you must believe it!

Because you are a sinner you are destined for hell for all eternity.

“For the wages of sin is death…” Romans 6:23

“…and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.” James 1:15

THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO TO SAVE YOURSELF.

You cannot be good enough. “…there is none that doeth good, no, not one.” Romans 3:12 You cannot be saved by keeping the law. Joining the church and being baptized will not even help save you. ” By the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.” Galatians 2:16 You are helpless. You cannot save yourself.

HERE IS THE GOOD NEWS OF THE GOSPEL.

In spite of your sin, God loves you and has done everything necessary for your salvation. “For when we were yet without strength (helpless), in due time Christ died for the ungodly.” Romans 5:6 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the spirit.” I Peter 3:18

JUST BELIEVING INTELLECTUALLY THAT YOU ARE A SINNER, THAT GOD LOVES YOU AND THAT CHRIST DIED FOR YOU
IS NOT ENOUGH.

You must apply this to yourself personally by repenting and receiving the Lord Jesus Christ as your own Savior. Repentance is “a change of mind” brought to your heart by the Holy Spirit through God’s word that causes you to turn from your sins, dead religion and works, to trust Christ alone. “Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.Luke 13:3 “But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name.John 1:12 “…all men are commanded to repent and therefore can.” Acts 17:30

DON’T PUT THIS OFF – DO IT NOW!

“…Now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.II Corinthians 6:2Seek ye the Lord while He may be found, call ye upon Him while He is near.Isaiah 55:6For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13 “…All men can be saved.” I Timothy 2:4-6 Wherever you are right now, tell God you are a lost sinner, ask Him to forgive you of your sin and receive the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior. Claim salvation by faith. “for by grace ye are saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is a gift of God: not of works, lest any man boast” Ephesians 2:8-9

YOU MAY PRAY THIS SIMPLE PRAYER MEANING IT WITH ALL YOUR HEART.

“Dear Lord, I know that I am a sinner, but I am sorry for my sins. I believe that the Lord Jesus died for me and with all my heart I turn from my sin and receive Him as my Savior right now. Thank you, Lord, for saving me! Amen.”

Welcome to;

The Fellowship of the Unashamed

I am part of the “Fellowship of the Unashamed.” The die has been cast. I have stepped over the line. The decision has been made. I am a disciple of Jesus Christ. I won’t look back, let up, slow down, back away, or be still. My past is redeemed, my present makes sense, and my future is secure. I am finished and done with low living, sight walking, small planning, smooth knees, colorless dreams, chintzy giving, and dwarfed goals. I no longer need pre-eminence, prosperity, position, promotions, plaudits, or popularity. I now live by presence, lean by faith, love by patience, lift by prayer, and labor by power. My pace is set, my gait is fast, my goal is Heaven, my road is narrow, my way is rough, my companions few, my guide is reliable, my mission clear. I cannot be bought, compromised, deterred, lured away, turned back, diluted, or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of adversity, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity, or meander in the maze of mediocrity. I am a disciple of Jesus Christ. I must go until Heaven returns, give until I drop, preach until all know, and work until He comes. and when He comes to get His own, He will have no problem recognizing me.
My colors will be clear.

I am not ashamed of the gospel…Romans 1:16
